Outstanding Family Portrait !!
I was really interested in doing something different this year with our family pictures that incorporated the outdoors, so when I saw the ad for Dan Scott-Elkins, I was curious, and decided to give them a call. Dan and the team did an exceptional job of organizing our photo shoot, they worked with my family, provided suggestion on attire, and gave us an overall complete package from start to finish on this project. We were just thrilled with the final product, I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family. They are true professionals in every way, and have a true passion for their art....and now I have my timeless photos that I will cherish forever! Our next project is to do an extended family portrait with Dan Scott!

A few years ago our group had pictures taken (by another studio) so that we would have something to use on our new website. We were very disappointed with the results. Last year our company made a concerted effort to increase our exposure both on the internet and in print. Dan was recommended by some people in the real estate profession. We looked at his work and we were very impressed. Dan came to our office and surveyed some areas that would provide the background scenery for our project. He came up with some very creative ideas. We relied entirely on his expertise. The results were fantastic. We’ve had a lot of compliments. Our project was a complete success and we will most assuredly use him going forward.

Dan you rock! We finally , after years of putting off having our portraits done, found Scott-Elkins's kiosk at the Calabasas Commons. My husband and I loved what we saw there. We then spoke with Dan about what type of family we are and what we were looking at having done. Dan then went into work mode and found some really awesome locations for us to use. Dan and the team were so comfortable to work with. Dan is an exceptional photographer! They made my kids giggle throughout the entire session. Needless to say, we now have some amazing portraits hanging on our wall that we will cherish for a lifetime. We will be using them in the future and highly recommend them. Thanks guys!

The photos that Dan and the team took for us were amazing. We did a generation photo (mom, daughter, grand-daughters) which came out beautiful and will be treasured for years to come. We also did individual photos of my 1 year old and 3 1/2 year old. Dan and team had so much patience and made the children feel comfortable enough to get truly beautiful pictures capturing the personality and beauty of each child. From start to finish, from the amazing location they chose for the pictures to there artistic talents with the final product, these are true professionals and a class act and were wonderful to work with. My take on the world
Everything in our lives are as it was always meant to be. Living with ease and grace is all we can do. Life so too precious to spend it pretending to be super cool and always in control when we could be laughing, singing, and dancing. God knows the real treasure in life is the love we all share.
I grew up in a small town and came to LA not old enough to drink. It's taken a while but photography has taken me everywhere. I've photographed just about everything and loved every minute of it. I used to spend countless hours developing film and printing pictures in my darkroom and in pro labs. Red Carpets, Premiere Parties, Corporate and Special events took over. It is an adventure still.
But really there is nothing more exciting for me than when I hang a portrait on the wall of my clients home and I see the impact that it has for them. There isn't anything to describe the unconditional love that is on display.
I would love to create a work of art for your home....
